On January 2, 2025, Techvina and the Vietnam National University of Forestry officially signed a cooperation agreement to improve and develop non-GMO clean cassia varieties with enhanced OMCA ingredient. This marks a significant milestone in combining high-quality human resources and scientific research in the field of research, development, and commercialization of Vietnam's natural products. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien, Principle of the Vietnam National University of Forestry, and Mr. Hoang Van Hai, Director of Techvina, demonstrating a commitment to building sustainable values for the community and the national economy. The signing ceremony promises a sustainable future for Vietnam.
Techvina, with over 15 years of market experience, is currently a leading enterprise in Vietnam in processing and exporting refined cassia oil products to the international market. In 2024, Techvina refined one-third of the cassia essential oil produced in Vietnam and exported nearly 300 tons of refined materials to demanding markets such as Europe and America. Techvina is always oriented towards sustainable development, combining scientific research and specialized human resource training.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien emphasized: "This agreement will strengthen the link between the University and the Enterprise, providing opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in practice, while also creating an environment for learning and exchange between faculty and staff from both sides."
Mr. Hoang Van Hai, Director of Techvina, shared the development direction towards a Science and Technology Enterprise model, with refined products extracted from essential oils of woody plants. With the development orientation of Techvina and the core competencies of the Vietnam National University of Forestry, the two parties have agreed to focus on three key areas of cooperation: human resource training, scientific research and innovation, and resource sharing. The cooperation agreement will last until 2030, with a commitment to regularly organize evaluation and improvement activities.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding took place in a solemn atmosphere, affirming the strategic relationship between the Vietnam National University of Forestry and Techvina. This is an important milestone in the journey to build a forestry industry to apply the production of modern Vietnamese essential oil products and sustainable development.
